Any visitor to Italy is amazed at the casual way in which Italians cluster their towns in the vicinity of active volcanoes.

One of my most unforgettable experiences was to walk right inside VULCANO's crater, in an island off the coast of SICILY.

Obviously it was not erupting at the time, but the soil was hot and the air filled with sulphur emanating from its fumaroles. There is a tourist town on the island, with villas where people either live permanently or visit on holidays.

Arthur was a stray dog who decided to join a European Peak Performance Team during their treck through the jungle in South America. It all started when one of the members gave him a meatball. From then on Arthur followed them through all kinds of challenges. In the end his loyalty, bravery and devotion paid off.
