A MESSAGE FOR THE NAIVE? PEACE DOVES RELEASED BY POPE ARE ATTACKED BY CARNIVOROUS BIRDS

Who can argue with the word PEACE? That's why it's sometimes grossly misused by those manipulating world events to deviously achieve their means.

A typical case is the euphemism "Peace" in the Arab Israeli conflict. Arabs and their allies, including the United States government, use that word to hide their agenda, which is nothing less than the eventual dismantlement of the state of Israel.

"Peace" advocates don't ask for even the most minimum gestures of peace from Israel's enemies. The Arabs feel free to use incitement, violence, lies and terror. The world looks the other way.

But when Jews build houses, there is a loud outcry all over the globe, including governments, the United Nations, and "peace activists". They look away from daily carnage and denounce instead peaceful Jews building homes in their own country.

The Arabs set up illegal squatter camps all over Israel, on both sides of the Green Line. But advocates of peace do not consider that an infraction or an obstacle to peace. On the contrary. They assist them in the name of "humanitarianism".

Now this pope makes a gesture to symbolize peace - and Life's harsh reality - or maybe God himself - sends him a clear message: You can't make peace with those who want to destroy you.

Incidentally, the Pope will soon visit the Holy Land, but he refuses to say mass in Israel's capital, Jerusalem or to meet with PM Netanyahu.

However, he will say mass in the Arab-populated town of Ramallah, in the Palestinian Authority. The pope knows about symbols and this is a clear snub to Israel. Popes have warmly welcomed terrorists such as Yassir Arafat, and the financial mastermind of the Munich Olympic Massacre, the current president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmood Abbas. Abbas visited the pope only a few months ago.
