ISRAELI BRUTALITY - FREED TERRORIST WHO KILLED TWO JEWISH STUDENTS COMPLAINS ISRAEL INTERFERED WITH HIS STAMP COLLECTING

Arab prisoners are treated better than Jewish prisoners in Israel.  I have previously pointed out the discrepancy in the general treatment of Jews and Arabs in Israel, with particular discrimination against religious Jews and their access to sacred sites.   The Real Apartheid in Israel

Parts of the country are under military control, including entire Jewish towns.  While Arabs establish squatter towns on both sides of the Green Line with complete impunity, there is a strictly enforced ban on Jewish construction in Biblical areas of the country - even for home renovations that require small additions.

The following article showcases a true story of an Arab murderer of Jews who was released from prison, along with hundreds of others, in order to entice the Palestinian Authority president to participate in Peace Talks aimed at giving Arabs a state on ancient Biblical Jewish land.

After his release that terrorist complained about Israeli interference with his hobby of stamp collecting.

That news story is followed by more information about the humane (and even pampered) treatment received by Arabs in Israeli prisons, as demonstrated  by an MSNBC documentary.

Finally I include an article, out of many others, on the mistreatment of religious Jews by the Israeli Justice system, in this case Jewish girls, the youngest only 13 years old, who were arrested and kept incarcerated for several weeks accused of building shacks on hilltops.

They were subjected to sleep deprivation and other abuse.  These were religious girls, devoted to the Biblical land of Israel.  They hurt no one.  But the secular and pro-Arab government establishment of Israel has always had a special animosity against religious Jews.

Israel National News - April 2014 -
Many Israelis have long maintained that conditions for Arab terrorists in jail are far too comfortable and do not provide enough of a deterrent, citing numerous incidents of Palestinian Arabs who have carried out attacks purely in order to receive the perks that Israeli jails afford them, including free higher education.

Terrorist Rabbo with his stamps
A recent interview with one terrorist recently released from jail as a "goodwill gesture" to the Palestinian Authority is unlikely to change that popular viewpoint, as the convicted killer laments how the "hardships" of life in an Israeli jail prevented him from fully pursuing his hobby of stamp-collecting.

On October 1984 Issa Abed Rabbo murdered two Israeli university students, Ron Levi and Revital Seri, in cold blood, after tying them up and blindfolding them at gunpoint. The two were enjoying a hike south of Jerusalem, and were shot in the head from point-blank range.

Rabbo was given two consecutive life sentences, but was released in October 2013 as part of one of several prisoner releases aimed at coaxing the PA to the negotiating table (and under United States pressure).

Earlier this month he gave his second interview to official PA media outlet Al Hayat Al Jadida, and told how he has "enthusiastically resumed his hobby, which the occupation had prevented him from [pursuing] during the 30 years he spent in the occupation's prisons."

The interview was translated by Palestinian Media Watch, an NGO which monitors Palestinian Arab media for incitement, anti-Semitism and glorification of terrorism.

"I have resumed my hobby of stamp collecting with enthusiasm, to make up for what I lost during my time in prison," he told the paper. "I'm proud of the stamps I collected in prison, but it was difficult for me to pursue [my] hobby in prison, because there were many restrictions, few letters arrived, and the quality of the stamps [was poor].

"Prison also affects our hobbies, and I had no special albums to put the stamps in properly, so I put them in an envelope - the same one that left prison with me."

But despite the "restrictions", he still managed to collect one hundred stamps, "which accompanied me whenever I moved between nearly all of the occupation's prisons."

In a previous interview Rabbo - who upon his release was publicly hailed as a "hero" by PA leader Mahmoud Abbas - proudly described the murder of the two students.

In the January interview with PA TV, he said he "tied them up of course and then sentenced them to death by shooting, in the name of the revolution. I shot them, one bullet each, and went [hiding] in the mountains..."

He was publicly lauded as a 'hero' by PA leader Mahmoud Abbas in a ceremony following his release along with more than two dozen other convicted terrorists.

Israel a "prisoners paradise" says MSNBC TV Series on world prisons

At Hermon Prison in the Galilee, all inmates agree to participate in daily group therapy sessions. Inmates are housed according to their offenses, and prison social workers refer to them as “residents,” not inmates. The Lockup narrator notes that Hermon looks more like a college campus than a prison, with freedom of movement for inmates who choose to serve their time “therapeutically.”

As Israel’s only prison for women, Neve Tirza houses just over 200 inmates. Lockup producers were surprised to encounter prison facilities including a petting zoo and meditation room with glow-in-the-dark fish tanks. Inmates are seen teaching each other dance, producing art, and even nursing their babies in the prison’s fully-equipped ward for new mothers.

With 1,200 prisoners, Rimonim allows family members to live communally. Some Israeli-Arab “crime families” share a cell of up to six people, with the largest incarcerated Bedouin family boasting twenty members housed in one wing. The families are given leeway to manage their own affairs, a key factor contributing to prison security and inmates’ well-being, according to Rimonim Prison Commander Chen Benderli.

New Rimonim inmates are permitted to bring their clothes, appliances and other personal items with them to prison. Most inmates cook for themselves in communal kitchens, and prison staff eat food prepared by inmates. Jewish and Arab inmates socialize freely with guards, shaking hands and trading jokes in what Lockup producer Kimberly Greenhut called “a very social and very festive environment.”

AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN TAXPAYERS FUNDING THE MURDER OF JEWS IN ISRAEL

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY PAYS UP TO $3,400 A MONTH TO TERRORISTS - FUNDED BY YOU, THE US AND EU TAXPAYER
The more serious the crime the more money the criminal receives after going to prison.   Absurd? Yes. True? Yes again.
When a Palestinian Arab terrorist murders an Israeli or an American in Israel, they can wind up receiving a generous salary, in excess of $40,000 a year, for their crime. And if you are a US taxpayer, you are footing part of the tab.

The more ghastly the atrocity and the higher the prison sentence, the greater the PA salary.

The moment a Palestinian is convicted of an act of terror – “violent resistance” is the Palestinians’ preferred propaganda term – against Israel, whether against a soldier or civilian, that convicted terrorist is automatically entered into the PA ’s public payroll to receive a generous monthly salary (to be paid from the date of his or her arrest, not conviction). Salaries range from around $400 a month to up to $3,400 a month – up to 10 times the average pay earned by many working Palestinians.

BUT 13-YEAR-OLD JEWISH GIRLS
 ARE MISTREATED IN PRISON
BY A PRO-ARAB JUSTICE SYSTEM IN ISRAEL
FOR THE CRIME OF BUILDING A SHACK ON A HILLTOP

Allegations of police abuse and a call for a public fast day Thursday by leading rabbis herald the third week in jail for seven teenage girls arrested for building a hilltop outpost.

Police forced several of the girls, who are all under the age of 16, to strip in prison, according to their parents.

Police also subjected the youngsters to sleep deprivation, a tactic used by the Shabak (General Security Service) when dealing with ‘ticking-bomb’ terrorists, to break their determination.

The girls have been held under harsh conditions and have not yet been charged. They refuse to identify themselves or cooperate with the Israeli justice system, which they say has positioned itself contrary to the laws of the Torah.

Judges have allowed the police to continue to incarcerate the seven girls, aged 13 to 15, at the Neveh Tirza prison near Ramle, east of Tel Aviv for entering a closed military zone and trying to establish the new hilltop community of Givat HaOr (Hill of Light) near Beit El, north of Jerusalem.

The girls are demanding to be put on trial before a court of Jewish law set up by the nascent Sanhedrin.

Police declined to respond to the charges, saying that the girls’ parents "are welcome to file a complaint.” Such a complaint would necessitate disclosing the identities of the girls and cooperating with the legal system.

Fast Day Called For Thursday
Leading rabbis, including Kiryat Arba-Hevron Chief Rabbi Dov Lior, have called on people to fast on Thursday on behalf of the girls.

"In protest against the mistreatment and incarceration of these dear daughters of Zion and in protest against the terrible intention, G-d forbid, to endanger every single soul in Israel, to exile Jews from their homes and to expel them from their rightful inheritance – from Jerusalem and the Temple Mount – we call on all who are able to fast [Thursday]," said a statement from the Council of Rabbis of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria (Yesha).

Child Welfare Group Joins Protest
Israel's National Child Welfare Council protested the treatment of the girls. Director Dr. Yitzchak Kadmon sent a sharply-worded letter to the Jerusalem District Attorney's office, protesting the continued incarceration under abusive conditions of the seven. Kadmon mentioned the fact that the girls have been deprived of food and bathroom privileges for hours at a time, and are not allowed to have school books brought in.

The Honenu legal aid organization declared its appreciation of Dr. Kadmon's stance on the side of the girls: "The State of Israel seems to be convinced that Jews who work to settle throughout the Land of Israel are more likely to be criminals than others. We are happy that Dr. Kadman has woken up to his obligation to help even children of settlers."

Human Rights Brief Filed With Comptroller
Civil rights and human rights legal activist Attorney Irving Gendelman wrote a brief to State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss asking him to examine the continued imprisonment of the girls and its deleterious effect on Israeli democracy.

"The hallmark of a democratic society is the ability of its citizenry to freely comment on the conduct of the Government,” Atty. Gendelman wrote. “This is particularly important when that comment is in opposition to government policies. Conversely, there is a forward movement to totalitarianism when the government reacts to abridge or subvert [views] in opposition to government policies...not only through its procedural processes but also where it seeks and secures cruel, harsh and undue punishment for those opposing governmental policies."

Gendelman said the girls’ imprisonment constitutes such punishment and pointed out that the girls' crime was that they “objected to government policies due to their noble concern for the welfare of their country… When you imprison someone, you take away their humanity and their dignity particularly where that imprisonment is questionable…Essentially, it is an abridgement of basic human rights in order to implement Government policies."
